Is Blogging Necessary for SEO?

While I would not call it “necessary,” I would say it is a good idea. A blog does not rank better or worse than a regular page. What it does do, however, is create new original content regularly. This means more pages to index in search engines as well as tells the search engines your website is being updated regularly. This is also the case with press releases, newsletters published on the site, and forums.
